Excursions
As you prepare for the new school year, explore Excursions, a free collection of classroom-tested math activities that connect learning to students' interests, families, communities, and the world. Each activity invites students to explore meaningful questions through rigorous mathematics. Teachers who field-tested Excursions reported higher student engagement, broader participation in math discussions, and more opportunities to learn about their students' experiences and identities.
Takeaway: Research consistently shows that students engage more deeply in STEM when learning is meaningful, inquiry-driven, connected to their lives, and designed to value their ideas and experiences.

The NeuroVivid project is running its BCI makerspace experience this August at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation (Waltham, MA).
